Biografía

Aaron Zebede es actor, director y productor de teatro en Panamá.

Como actor, ha personificado papeles memorables como ‘Tevye’ en "Un Violinista sobre el Tejado" (papel que ha reproducido en dos producciones diferentes), ‘Otto Frank’ en "El Diario de Ana Frank", ‘Toddy’ en el musical "Victor/Victoria" y Max Bialystock en "The Producers".
 
En el 2013 Aaron participó en el Off-Broadway show "The Accidental Pervert" de Andrew Goffman, en español en el Teatro La Quadra. Igualmente encarnó los papeles principales de ‘Georges’ en el musical "La Jaula de las Locas" y ‘Shrek’ en "Shrek el Musical".
 
Como director, ha estado al mando de varios musicales como "Elton John & Tim Rice’s Aida" en el Teatro Nacional de Panamá, "In the Heights" de Lin Manuel Miranda en el Teatro en Círculo (ambas en 2013), Schönberg & Boublil’s "Les Misérables" en 2014, Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar" y el afamado drama sobre Aids del autor Larry Kramer "The Normal Heart" en el 2015. En los últimos dos años ha dirigido los musicales "Mamma Mia!", "Rock of Ages", "El Fantasma de la Opera", "Madagascar el Musical" y "Shrek el Musical".
 
En la pantalla grande Aaron ha trabajado en Escobar: Paradise Lost (con Benicio del Toro y Josh Hutcherson) y próximamente en Hands of Stone (la historia de Roberto Duran) dirigida por Jonathan Jakubowicz.

Es el autor, actor y director de dos 'Stand-up Comedy Shows': "Turning 50" y "51*", y en 2017 dirigió "Los Monólogos de la Vagina" para el Teatro La Plaza.
 
Sus próximos proyectos incluyen la dirección de los musicales "Sister Act" y "Billy Elliot", todos en su querida Panamá.

Aaron Zebede is a Panamanian stage actor, director, and producer.

As an actor, he has portrayed memorable roles like 'Tevye' in "Fiddler on the Roof" (a role he has played in two different productions), 'Otto Frank' in "The Diary of Anne Frank", 'Toddy' in the musical "Victor/Victoria" and 'Max Bialystock' in "The Producers".
 
In 2013 Aaron starred in Andrew Goffman's Off-Broadway show "The Accidental Pervert" (Spanish version) at Panama's famed Teatro La Quadra. He then went to play the title role of 'Georges' in the musical "La Cage aux Folles" and did a one week run as 'Shrek' in "Shrek the Musical".
 
As director, Aaron directed "Elton John & Tim Rice's Aida" at the National Theatre of Panama as well as Lin Manuel Miranda's "In The Heights" at the Teatro El Círculo (both in 2013), Schönberg & Boublil’s "Les Misérables" in 2014, Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar" and Larry Kramer's AIDS drama "The Normal Heart" in 2015. His latest work has been helming the musicals "Mamma Mia!", "Rock of Ages", "Phantom of the Opera", "Madagascar" and "Shrek the Musical".
 
On the big screen Aaron worked in Escobar: Paradise Lost, with Benicio del Toro and Josh Hutcherson, directed by Andrea Di Stefano, and in the 2015 biopic Hands of Stone as Roberto Duran's father in law, directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz.

He is the author, director and starred in his brand new one hour stand-up comedy shows "Turning 50" & "51*", and in 2017 directed "The Vagina Monologues" for La Plaza Theater.
 
His next projects include directing "Sister Act" and "Billy Elliot" in his beloved Panama.
